I design, make and hand finish these bookmarks with care and love.

I use a laser to cut the bookmarks and engrave my original drawings onto the wood. This ensures that the fine details which add to each animal’s character and charm are always perfectly captured.  

Each animal design is accompanied by a themed pun. This relates the drawing back to the reader and is an additional element of whimsy that makes each one of these bookmarks extra special.  

Once they are engraved and cut, I hand finish each bookmark by cleaning, conditioning, and sanding the wood. This gives each piece a refined, tactile and well-crafted finish.

I complete each wooden bookmark with a gold tassel. This gorgeous thread can be easily draped over the edge of the book to ensure that your place can be kept easily and effectively when reading.

The golden tassel thread is also silky to touch and has a beautiful lustre. This tactile and attractive addition complements the wood and elevates the bookmark even further.

These bookmarks are a unique and special take on a simple idea, ready to be used, loved and treasured by bookworms and avid readers alike.
