Every portrait begins as an original piece of artwork, hand drawn by me from scratch. I carefully capture the unique personality, expression and little details that make your pet unmistakably them.

Once complete, I engrave my original drawing onto eco-friendly wood which I present beautifully in a shadow box frame. This can be displayed freestanding or hung on the wall.

Each finished piece is also personally signed by myself — a small mark of the time, care and artistry that goes into creating your portrait.

    To make these special, one of a kind pet portraits, I start by creating an original drawing of your pet, using your pet portfolio as reference (which you can upload by pressing ‘Add to Cart’). I draw all of my artwork fully by hand to truly capture every nuanced detail and expression of character.

    Once I have completed your pet’s portrait, I use a laser to engrave it directly onto eco-friendly wood. The laser allows all the intricate, fine details of my drawing to be expertly captured in the engraving.

    The eco-friendly wood I use is sustainably sourced maple veneered wood. This beautiful wood is naturally light in color with attractive wood grain. Its light colouring provides excellent contrast to your engraved portrait so that the artwork itself remains the main feature on this gorgeous organic backdrop.

    Once the engraving is finished and complete, I clean and condition the wood by hand. I then hand sand it and frame it in a Greenwood Gifted frame. The frame is a white shadow box frame that can be both hung on the wall or free-standing making it easy to display.
