A characterful solid hevea wood chopping board featuring my original hand-drawn Highland cow, carefully engraved into the natural wood. Practical enough to use every day and beautiful enough to leave on display, it makes a lovely addition to the kitchen or a wonderful gift for a Highland cow lover.

  • Bring a little character to the kitchen with this solid hevea wood chopping board, featuring my own original Highland cow artwork engraved directly into the natural wood.

Like all my animal designs, this Highland cow began as an original drawing which I drew entirely by hand before carefully adapting for engraving. The detailed illustration is etched directly into the wood, creating a practical chopping and serving board that's beautiful enough to leave out on display.

    • Original Highland cow artwork, drawn entirely by hand
    • Laser engraved into solid hevea wood
    • Made from sustainably sourced wood
    • Finished on both sides with food-safe mineral oil
    • Ideal for chopping, preparing and serving
    • Designed and engraved by me in my Derbyshire studio

    ORIGINAL HAND-DRAWN ARTWORK

This Highland cow began its life as one of my own drawings. I draw each animal by hand before preparing the finished artwork for engraving, preserving all those shaggy lines and little details that give him his individuality and character.

    SOLID HEVEA WOOD

Made from sustainably sourced solid hevea wood, each chopping board has its own natural grain, colour and markings, making every piece subtly individual.

After engraving, I finish both sides of every board by hand with food-safe mineral oil to nourish and protect the wood while bringing out its natural grain.

MADE TO USE — OR DISPLAY

The paddle-shaped design gives you plenty of space for everyday chopping and food preparation, with an integrated handle that's also handy for serving. And when it's not in use, the detailed Highland cow engraving makes it a lovely piece to leave out on display in the kitchen.

    A GIFT WITH A STORY

A lovely choice for Highland cow lovers, keen cooks, new homes and anyone who appreciates something a little different for their kitchen. Because the artwork is my own, it's not simply another Highland cow added to a chopping board — it's an original Greenwood Gifted design, taken from sketch to finished piece in my Derbyshire studio.

    CARE

Hand wash only with warm water and mild washing-up liquid, then dry thoroughly. Do not soak for prolonged periods or place in the dishwasher.

As preferred, you may wish to re-condition the wood as time goes by to keep the wood looking its best. I recommend doing this occasionally with a food-safe mineral oil or chopping board oil as needed.
